John Barrowman and The Krankies set sail for Robinson Crusoe
and the Caribbean Pirates!
John Barrowman and The Krankies will be making a triumphant
return to the stage of the Clyde Auditorium for the forthcoming
pantomime season in Robinson Crusoe & the Caribbean Pirates.
The producers of the show, Qdos Entertainment have cast John
Barrowman to play the title role of Robinson Crusoe alongside
Glasgow pantomime favourites, The Krankies who will play the
part of Captain Crusoe & Jimmy Crusoe.
The use of 3D special effects in last year’s production of Aladdin
was such a hit with audiences that Qdos Entertainment are
creating brand-new and even more spectacular 3D sequences
which will feature in this year’s pantomime.
“We are thrilled that John and The Krankies are returning
together to entertain the crowds at the SECC again this
Christmas” said Michael Harrison, managing director of Qdos
Entertainment’s pantomime division and executive producer of
Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates. “With thrilling
sword fights, hilarious comedy, a beautiful mermaid, an 18 foot
long ship and a sea monster that swims out over the audience.
This action-packed adventure will be the hottest ticket in
pantoland” added Michael.
